  • November 15, 2016 parents’ session:

    Parents! Are scolding, threats, and punishments working to get your children to

    behave appropriately and cooperatively? If not, please join Sharon McCarthy,

    national presenter, for two hours on November 15, 2016. It might possibly be

    the best two hours you ever invested in your family. Participants will leave this session with:

    • 3 concrete strategies for getting kids to do homework and go to bed
    • 3 ways for both parents and children to deactivate their stress and anxiety
    • 2 ways to increase children’s gratitude 

    Parents of all South River students are welcome! 

    Location:  South River High School Media Center

    Time: 6:30 – 8:30 pm 

    Participants will also be eligible to win one of several Barnes & Noble $25 gift cards!

  • All fourth grade classes will be dismissed today through the elementary school's main entrance on Johnson Place at 3:15.  Parents/guardians are asked to stay off of the walkway/bridge so the students can safely exit the building.  All preschool, third and fifth grade classes will be dismissed from the side of the building.

  • Notice: New student registration for South River Schools will take place in the main office of the Primary School at 22 David Street between the hours of 1:00-2:30 or by appointment.  Registration will no longer take place at the individual buildings for new students.  Packets are available now for pickup.  Two (2) valid proof of residency documents are required.  Call 732-613-4006 to schedule an appointment.
