Directions to South River

South River High School and Denny Field

From Route 18 North - Follow Route 18 North to the Arthur Street exit. Make a right at the end of exit. Follow Arthur Street to the end, and make a left onto Old Bridge Turnpike. Go 2 blocks, and make a right onto Claremont Avenue. Follow Claremont to the end. The driveway for South River High School is straight ahead on Montgomery Street. Softball fields are to the right and in the back of the High School. To get to Denny Field, make a left onto Montgomery Street. The football field is located up on the left corner of Montgomery Street and Johnson Place (adjacent to the Primary School).

From Route 18 South - Take Route 18 South to the Arthur Street jughandle. Go straight across Route 18 and stay on Arthur Street. Follow Arthur Street to the end, and follow above directions.

From Route 9 South - Follow Route 9 South to the Sayreville exit (right after Costa Verde). At the bottom of the ramp, make a right. Take the road to the first traffic light (Dunkin Donuts). Go straight through the traffic light, and the street is now Washington Avenue. Follow Washington Avenue to the end. Go straight over Veteran's Memorial Bridge. Remain in the left hand lane to go straight once over the bridge. The road is now Main Street, South River. Follow Main Street all the way up to Old Bridge Turnpike (approx. 4 lights). Make a left onto Old Bridge Turnpike, go 6 blocks, and make a left turn onto Claremont Avenue. Follow Claremont to the end. The driveway for South River High School is straight ahead on Montgomery Street. Softball fields are to the right and in the back of the High School. To get to Denny Field, make a left onto Montgomery Street. The football field is located up on the left corner of Montgomery Street and Johnson Place (adjacent to the Primary School).

From Route 35 South - Take Route 35 South to Route 9 South, and follow above directions.

From Route 35 North - Take Route 35 North to the Sayreville/South Amboy exit (right before the Exxon station). Make a right off of the exit ramp. Follow the same directions above to Washington Avenue through Sayreville to South River.
