Notice Regarding Changes to Legal Notice Requirements

Pursuant to New Jersey Law S-4654, signed into law on June 30, 2025, amendments have been made to the legal notice requirements under the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA).

Effective March 1, 2026, public entities, including school districts, are required to publish legal notices on their official websites rather than in newspapers. All of South River Public Schools’ public notices will be available on this page for a minimum of one week and then moved to the Archived Notices page, where they will remain accessible for at least one calendar year.
