School Performance Reports
New Jersey School Performance Reports for South River have been created to provide educators, families and members of the community information about how a school if performing and how the school is preparing students for success. These reports provide an overall picture of the performance of our schools.
They take into account information regarding chronic absenteeism, performance on standardized tests such as NJSLA. On March 16, 2020, Governor Murphy, as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, closed all schools for in-person instruction and shifted to a virtual model. Additionally, the United States Department of Education provided a waiver for state testing, thereby cancelling the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments for the 2019 - 2020 and 2020 - 2021 school years. Testing resumed during the 2021 - 2022 school year which is reflected in these reports.
The reports provided help to identify a school's strengths and areas for improvement. They also reflect a focus on how a school is improving through the inclusion of longitudinal data.
Included here are two (2) different reports.
