Our district encourages staff members to continue developing their skills and knowledge throughout the year and therefore provides opportunities for professional development. We host multiple days during the school year where our teaching staff and teacher leaders along with outside vendors share information and expertise to inform practice and to keep on top of recent developments in education. We also encourage staff to research and participate in workshops outside the district. Below are the forms that need to be completed when requesting attendance at an outside workshop. Staff members attending a workshop or seminar outside school will be asked to turnkey that information during an in-district PD day or department meeting.
